Summary: All About Driving is a Driving School in Waterford Michigan. We are looking for people who are interested in becoming Michigan-certified driver's education instructors. Instructors teach both classroom and Behind the Wheel, primarily to teenagers getting their driver's licenses. The driving school provides the venues and vehicles. Instructors need to be flexible in accordance with students' availabilities when designing their own schedules. Just as an example, a typical work week schedule might be Monday through Thursday from 3 to 9 pm, give or take; Friday through Sundays more flexible. Qualifications: There are no pre-set qualifications. You will need to pass a background and a medical fitness check. You need to be comfortable speaking with groups and dealing with teenagers. Desired qualities are motivation, dependability, and commitment to providing quality instruction. Training: You have to attend an Instructor Preparation Program, which requires about 150 hours of certification training. Compensation: Starting base pay is in the range of $25 to $30 an hour.
