Apply today and help us make every moment count at PSC.ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do as an LPN at PSC:Provide hands-on nursing care to medically complex childrenAdminister medications and treatments safely using established best practicesMonitor for changes in condition and respond appropriatelySupport individualized care plans and contribute to ongoing assessmentsBe a Critical Member of the Care Team:Communicate changes in condition to RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team membersCollaborate with MDs/NPs/PAs regarding orders and updatesParticipate actively in change-of-shift reports to ensure seamless continuity of careSeek RN guidance when care needs exceed LPN scope of practiceSupport Clinical Excellence & Safety:Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standardsAssist with admissions, re-evaluations, and care plan updatesFollow all safety, infection control, and medication administration standardsParticipate in quality improvement and safety initiativesContribute to a Professional, Pediatric-Focused Environment:Model professionalism, integrity, and respectSupport the development of Nursing TechniciansParticipate in ongoing education and skill developmentHelp create a safe, nurturing environment for children and familiesQualificationsLPN - Licensed Practical Nurse (Pediatrics)Credentials as a Licensed Practical Nurse with a current state license in good standing for the state in which work is performed2-5 years of experience as a LPN requiredPediatric experience preferredValid, current BLS/CPR and First Aid certificationMust be at least 21 years of ageTraining and work experience in a pediatric setting preferredMeets the qualifications of a Child Care Supervisor as described in 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3800This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
